NodeJS on Windows 10 Bash

To get started with Node.js on Windows 10 Bash
  1. Complete all steps in the page Windows 10 Bash .  This includes fixing the font rendering issue in Windows 10 Bash.
  2. Complete all of the steps to get git working under the steps for Git, Git-hub, and Bitbucket.  This is somewhat optional, but it is part of the workflow for most people.
  3. Use superuser privileges (see Superuser or Root Privileges section), Set the source for nodeJS, since the Ubuntu's repo is out of date, install nodejs, install buildessentials:
    1. sudo su
    2. curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_6.x | sudo -E bash -  
    3. sudo apt-get install -y nodejs
    4. sudo apt-get install -y build-essential
